We are excited to announce that we are opening the doors to the Sanctuary this coming Sunday, May 3rd as well as continuing our Live Online Service. There are guidelines that we are following that have been passed down to all the churches in Texas from Governor Abbott’s office. Remember, we are only now in Phase One of Reopening and it is important for us as a Body of believers to remain flexible and prayerful during these times. The Following are the Guidelines that have been passed down to us from the Department of State Health Services dated April 27, 2020 as well as the Elder Board of FCC:
  • We are continuing to ask that anyone that is considered high risk to stay at home and join us online. High Risk includes those who are 65 + or have medical issues such as: heart disease, diabetes, cancer or weakened immune systems. Those who have a history of medium to severe asthma also need to stay at home and attend online.
  • If you are a family with young children, we are also asking you to stay at home and join us online. This also includes women who are pregnant. IMPORTANT: The Nursery and child-care will not be available during this first Phase nor will we be having Children’s Church.
  • For those of you that would like to come out, the doors of the Sanctuary will be open by 10:15 a.m. and the service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Before leaving home we are asking everyone to take their temperature. Anyone with a temperature that is greater than or equal to 100 we are asking you to stay at home and join us online.
  • If you have a Cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore or scratchy throat, loss of taste or smell, diarrhea or have had close contact with any person that has tested positive for COVID -19 please stay at home and join us online.
  • We will have greeters at the door to open the door for you as you enter and to have the door opened for you as you leave.
  • Upon entering the foyer, please use Hand Sanitizer and pick up a prepackaged container of communion elements for use during the service.
  • We will not be serving Coffee or doughnuts during this time.
  • The wearing of a mask is optional.
  • Two or more members of the same household can sit in the seats next to each other ; unrelated groups must be separated by a vacant row and two empty seats or an aisle.
  • The Rows of chairs that have an “X” on them are not to be sat in as they are designated vacant rows.
  • We will not be passing the Offering plate but will have it in the back for you to give your tithes and offering as you leave at the conclusion of the service.
  • After the Benediction is given we will dismiss by rows. We are doing this to remain attentive to keep with social distancing guidelines.

We praise God for Technology that we can have both an Online/Live Service as well as open our Sanctuary Doors. Whether we see you online or in person, we look forward to worshiping together this Sunday, May 3rd starting at 10:30 a.m.
May the Lord continue to bless and watch over each of us as we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus who is the author and perfecter of our faith.
