Are you Armored Up?

Follower of Jesus Christ, have you armored up?
The one who is following Jesus is also the one who becomes a target of Satan. This isn't meant to put fear into the soul of the follower but to recognize that spiritual warfare is part of the Christian life as we are called to shine for Jesus.
Satan is known as the father of lies, a schemer and deceiver. He isn't to be underestimated or the Lord would not command us in Ephesians 6 to put the whole armor of God on.
What relationships, past or present, are you finding difficult to navigate or to have reconciliation? Are there regrets and even bitterness that you could be holding onto from these relationships?
Most Christians know of the passage in Ephesians 6 that reveals that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, against the authorities and cosmic powers over this present darkness.(Ephesians 6:12) However, 2 Corinthians 2 speaks of how Satan can outwit the Christian if unforgiveness is allowed to continue in his/her life.
One of the chief ways Satan tries to keep the follower of Christ in bondage is to keep them holding onto areas of unforgiveness in past or present relationships. When Christ has forgiven us by His amazing grace so the follower who forgives in the name of Jesus also walks in freedom from Satan's scheming ways. Forgiveness is the great weapon we release against the forces of this present darkness that ushers in the light of Jesus.
