Cry Out To Jesus

When we are brokenhearted and crushed in spirit, we can easily become disillusioned with God and with life.
If what has caused us pain is sin we have committed, it is only through confession and repentance where the Lord can and will bring healing. Repentance is the means by which we are delivered when we have hurt ourselves through our own sin.

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and Just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us of all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)

If what has caused us pain is not sin in our life but walking closely with the Lord, then He draws near to comfort and deliver us. Even in the midst of rejection, slander, betrayal, that comes from someone close to us, whether in the family or in the church family, there is the closeness of Christ that is promised to us.

"When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit."

The Life of the Christ follower does not come without brokenness or getting crushed, but Jesus is present to heal and restore. He is the Lord and Great Physician who heals our wounds and gives us the Hope and strength to continue running the race of faith. Keep Your Eyes on Jesus for He is near!
